Believe it or not summer is a slow time for botanical art exhibitions.
Joan is the chairperson of the Philadelphia Society of Botanical Illustrators exhibit for the 2011 Philadelphia Flower Show, and is busy working on the particulars of this major exhibit.
The 2011 Philadelphia Flower Show theme is "I Love Paris". Joan, as well as her students and the membership of the PSBI, is excited about the wonderful, colorful possibilities of fragrant subject matter for this exhibit.

Joan Frain will have a solo exhibition of her original botanical watercolors at The Delaware Center for Horticulture.
